They're a nice boon early, though, for scouring the wasteland.Originally posted by Maebus:Should I plan to merge all rooms into 3's or are some rooms not worth merging into 3? Your top floor, and maybe the 2nd floor should allways be 3 wides and 2 wides (don't upgrade all these rooms yet, not untill you have strong enough wpns & dwellers to defend the), for defence versus raiders that break down your vaults front gate and come charging in for loot and shennanigans. Because they come in at higher levels and because health gain on level-up is determined by current endurance, their maximum health will be significantly less than a dweller leveled all the way from 1 to 50 with max endurance. The legendary ones will end up being downright terrible, actually. Incidentally, as far as dwellers from lunchboxes go, they aren't very good long term. Upgraded rooms have much more dangerous incidents and the average dweller level determines the difficulty of things like raiders (pretty sure incidents, too)."Ĭopied this from an earlier post. Be wary of upgraded rooms and leveling up, too. Elevators WILL spread incidents if they are directly touching a building, but some crafty elevatoring will let you setup patches of earth for separation.īasically, when a room is hit by an incident, just evacuate them all and it'll go away on its own. You want a buffer zone of earth between every building except in areas that will be unmanned (overseer/storage/medbays(max stimpack #)/etc.), but even then, too many bunched together will end up prolonging incidents for far too long. "Do not have ANY buildings placed next to each other (except in the cases when you're merging).
